So I've really been slacking on keeping this updated. It will be hit or miss until March, when it will be fired up as the trip nears! Mainly, I've been slowly picking away at week to week trips looking for the best resupply points. I'm interested to see how the fires in southern California have affected the trail. I know they have scorched the San Bernardino Mountains, which I'll be passing through the third week into the trip. I'm looking at a few items to make the trip easier. One of which is a water purifier using UV light. It only weighs 3.5oz with batteries! It's called the Steripen, check google. Anyway, i'll try to post regularly so as not to disappoint anyone, ahem, Ryan... peace out foos and God Bless :)

Ok, ok, so I nagged you a little bit... honestly, I suppose I don't need to rely on the blog because I get the updates from you directly (in person or over the phone). But from another perspective, it is a little bit of a different twist to read your thoughts written out. We tend to write a little differently than we talk.
