So I've really been slacking on keeping this updated. It will be hit or miss until March, when it will be fired up as the trip nears! Mainly, I've been slowly picking away at week to week trips looking for the best resupply points. I'm interested to see how the fires in southern California have affected the trail. I know they have scorched the San Bernardino Mountains, which I'll be passing through the third week into the trip. I'm looking at a few items to make the trip easier. One of which is a water purifier using UV light. It only weighs 3.5oz with batteries! It's called the Steripen, check google. Planning

I'm in the initial planning stages of my 2008 PCT trek. Starting with the Mexican border to roughly the 1st 100 miles. This is daunting but I'm super stoked and in the wise words of Dr. Leo Marvin, it's all about "baby steps."
