I'm one of the group that was picnicing at Sonora Pass July 5when you came through and joined us for lunch. I just wanted to tell you the reason for our being there that day--I couldn't say anything as I was close to tears some of the time.
We were spreading my husband's ashes in that beautiful rugged place with family and dear friends. He died in January. I miss him so much as he was a wonderful person, very loving, and much loved and respected by many people.
I have wondered how you two were getting along and thought I had lost your blogspot address but finally found it.
Best wishes to you both as you continue to carry the message of Jesus into the world.
I'm a hiking fanatic who loves swedish fish but more importantly, Jesus is the true reason for my adventurous lifestyle. I believe He is alive and not just cooped up in churches or wed. night bible studies. Hiking the PCT has an element of freedom but it doesn't compare with the freedom that Christ offers us.
